The mission of Building Mental Health is to enable everybody to improve the mental health and wellbeing of people in and around our industry, across the UK. Building Mental Health has secured funding from the CITB for Mental Health First Aid England to deliver 24 Construction bespoke, MHFA Instructor Courses. Each course can take 12 candidates. Our objective was to have 288 Construction Mental Health First Aid Instructors operating within our industry by the end of the initiative which is now end August 2021. These instructors will be fully certified to deliver the 2 day MHFA course that will in turn qualify on-site Mental Health First Aiders.

To achieve our mission, we will educate several thousand qualified Mental Health First Aiders to provide support on site, in yards and offices throughout the UK and Ireland. The following courses are now being set up ... so please confirm on the form below which course or courses would be best suited to you.
*Please note this does not mean your application has been successful, Mental Health First Aid England review all applications received by the closing date for each cohort and have the final veto.
* To ensure applicants get maximum support to deliver mental health first aid training within their organisations, it is best practice that the Building Mental Health Charter is signed by senior management prior to applying for the course.
